Strengths

An old boss once said he saw a key skill of mine as being “able to break down seemingly intractable problems into their component parts and find solutions”.  Good judgement and perspective are two of my key strengths.  My logical, analytical approach and ability to see things from multiple angles are central to enabling you to examine your challenges and find the answers that are right for you.

We’re emotional beings and any coaching challenge comes with it’s fair share of emotions.  Yet sometimes our emotions can create distortions and block us from seeing things as they really are, making it difficult to find a way forward.  My calm, focused approach, enables you to acknowledge those emotions and explore the thinking behind them, so you can gain new perspective and clarity.

I have high integrity and create a safe environment where we can talk openly and honestly, which is essential for successful coaching.  Coaching is all about change and change can feel uncomfortable, so we need to work through that.  I’ll be both supportive and challenging, asking the tough questions, when needed, to help you gain new insights.

I have a strong achievement drive and I really want you to succeed and obtain your goals.  I adopt a very collaborative approach to my coaching, doing whatever I can to help you succeed.  I also have high standards of excellence and take pride in delivering high-quality coaching that achieves its aims.

I balance all this with a warm, friendly smile and a good dose of humour.
